Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3114
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: "There is no monasticism in Islam."
Grade: Da'if
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی مکرم، سرور دو عالم ﷺ فرمایا کرتے تھے: ”اسلام میں گوشہ نشینی کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi Mukarram, Sarwar Do Alam (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmaya karte thy: "Islam mein gosha nishini ki koi haisiyat nahi hai."
حدثنا محمدُ بن بكر ، أخبرنا ابنُ جريج ، قال: أَخبرني عمرُ بنُ عطاءٍ ، عن عِكْرمة ، عن ابنِ عباسٍ ، عنِ النبيِّ صلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلَّمَ، أَنَّه كان يقولُ:" لا صَرُوَرةَ في الإسْلامِ".
