ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3125
Our master Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, said, “The Surahs which you call Mufassal, they are, in fact, Muhkamat. At the time of the Prophet’s, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passing, my age was ten years and I had already read all the Muhkamat by then.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ تم جن سورتوں کو مفصلات کہتے ہو، در حقیقت وہ محکمات ہیں، نبی ﷺ کے وصال کے وقت میری عمر دس سال تھی اور اس وقت تک میں ساری محکمات پڑھ چکا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ke tum jin suraton ko mufassalat kehte ho, dar haqeeqat wo muhkamat hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke wisal ke waqt meri umr das saal thi aur us waqt tak main sari muhkamat parh chuka tha.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ جَمَعْتُ الْمُحْكَمَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،" وَقُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا ابْنُ عَشْرِ حِجَجٍ". قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: وَمَا الْمُحْكَمُ؟ قَالَ: الْمُفَصَّلُ.
