The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3141
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade (Muslims) from hunting with trained dogs and from (eating the meat of birds) killed by birds with talons, on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے غزوہ خیبر کے موقع پر کچلی سے شکار کرنے والے ہر درندے اور پنجے سے شکار کرنے والے ہر پرندے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ghazwa Khyber ke mauqe par kuchli se shikar karne wale har darinde aur panje se shikar karne wale har parinde se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَرَوْحٌ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ كُلِّ ذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ، وَعَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ".
