The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3201
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Surah An-Nasr was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) knew that in this Surah he was being given the news of his passing away.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب سورہ نصر نازل ہوئی تو نبی ﷺ کو پتہ چل گیا کہ اس سورت میں ان کے وصال کی خبر دی گئی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki jab Surah Nasr nazil hui to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko pata chal gaya ki is surat mein un ke wisal ki khabar di gai hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ" عَلِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ قَدْ نُعِيَتْ إِلَيْهِ نَفْسُهُ"، فَقِيلَ: إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ السُّورَةَ كُلَّهَا.
