The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3306
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he and Fadl were passing by riding on a donkey, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer in the desert. We dismounted from our ride and joined the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not forbid us, nor did he send us back.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور فضل ایک گدھی پر سوار ہو کر گزر رہے تھے، اس وقت نبی ﷺ صحرا میں لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، ہم اپنی سواری سے اترے اور نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز میں شریک ہو گئے، نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں منع کیا اور نہ واپس بھیجا۔
Sayyedna Ibn Abbas RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba main aur Fazal ek gadhe par sawar ho kar guzar rahe thay, iss waqt Nabi SAW sahran mein logon ko namaz parha rahe thay, hum apni sawari se utre aur Nabi SAW ke sath namaz mein shareek ho gaye, Nabi SAW ne humain mana kiya aur na wapis bheja.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ . وَحَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" جِئْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ قَالَ: الْخَيَّاطُ، يَعْنِي حَمَّادًا فِي فَضَاءٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَمَرَرْنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَنَحْنُ عَلَيْهِ، حَتَّى جَاوَزْنَا عَامَّةَ الصَّفِّ، فَمَا نَهَانَا وَلَا رَدَّنَا".
