The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3322
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Gabriel (peace be upon him) led me in prayer twice near the Ka'bah. He said, 'O Muhammad, this was the time observed for prayer by you and the Prophets before you.' So he led me in the noon prayer when the sun had declined and a shadow of the length of a sandal strap had appeared, and in the sunset prayer when a fasting person breaks his fast."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”حضرت جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے خانہ کعبہ کے قریب دو مرتبہ میری امامت کی اور فرمایا: ”اے محمد! ﷺ ، یہ آپ کا اور آپ سے پہلے نبیوں کا وقت رہا ہے“، چنانچہ انہوں نے مجھے ظہر کی نماز اس وقت پڑھائی جب زوال شمس ہو گیا اور ایک تسمہ کے برابر سایہ ہو گیا، مغرب کی نماز اس وقت پڑھائی جب روزہ دار روزہ کھولتا ہے، اور اس کے لئے کھانا پینا حلال ہو جاتا ہے۔“
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam ne Khan e Kaaba ke qareeb do martaba meri imamat ki aur farmaya: "Ae Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), ye aap ka aur aap se pehle nabiyon ka waqt raha hai", chunache unhon ne mujhe zuhar ki namaz us waqt parhayi jab zawaal shams ho gaya aur ek tasme ke barabar saya ho gaya, maghrib ki namaz us waqt parhayi jab rozedar roza kholta hai, aur uske liye khana peena halal ho jata hai."
حَدَّثَنَا َوكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَمَّنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ مَرَّتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، هَذَا وَقْتُكَ وَوَقْتُ النَّبِيِّينَ قَبْلَكَ". صَلَّى بِهِ الظُّهْرَ حِينَ كَانَ الْفَيْءُ بِقَدْرِ الشِّرَاكِ، وَصَلَّى بِهِ الْمَغْرِبَ حِينَ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ وَحَلَّ الطَّعَامُ وَالشَّرَابُ.
