The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3456
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding Laylat al-Qadr: "Seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan, on the ninth night remaining, or the seventh night remaining, or the fifth night remaining."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے شب قدر کے متعلق فرمایا کہ ”اسے رمضان کے عشرہ اخیرہ میں تلاش کرو، نو راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر، یا پانچ راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر، یا سات راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Shab e Qadr ke mutalliq farmaya ke isse Ramzan ke ashra akhira mein talaash karo, nau raatein baqi reh jaane par, ya paanch raatein baqi reh jaane par, ya saat raatein baqi reh jaane par.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فِي تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى".
