The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3509
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) assumed the state of Ihram for Hajj, he arrived in Makkah al-Mukarramah on the 4th of Dhul-Hijjah and led us in the Fajr prayer in Batha. He then said: “Whoever wishes, let him make this Ihram the Ihram for 'Umrah.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے جب حج کا احرام باندھا تو چار ذی الحجہ کو مکہ مکرمہ پہنچے اور فجر کی نماز ہمیں مقام بطحاء میں پڑھائی اور فرمایا: ”جو چاہے اس احرام کو عمرہ کا احرام بنا لے۔“
Seyedna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jab Hajj ka ehram bandha to chaar Zul Hijjah ko Makkah Mukarramah pahunche aur Fajr ki namaz humain Maqaam Batha mein parhayi aur farmaya: ”Jo chahe is ehram ko Umrah ka ehram bana le.“
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَّاءِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ، فَقَدِمَ لِأَرْبَعٍ مَضَيْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ، فَصَلَّى بِنَا الصُّبْحَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً، فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا".
