ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3522
Abu Majlaz said: Once, a man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): I do not remember if I threw six pebbles or seven? He (Ibn Abbas) replied: I also do not know whether the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) threw six pebbles or seven at the Jamarat.

ابومجلز کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا: مجھے یاد نہیں رہا کہ میں نے چھ کنکریاں ماری ہیں یا سات؟ فرمایا: مجھے بھی معلوم نہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے جمرات کو چھ کنکریاں ماری ہیں یا سات؟
Abumajlaz kehte hain ki ek martaba ek aadmi ne syedna ibne abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se poocha: mujhe yaad nahin raha ki maine chhe kankriyan maari hain ya saat? Farmaya: mujhe bhi maloom nahin ki nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jamarat ko chhe kankriyan maari hain ya saat?
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: مَا أَدْرِي،" أَرَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجَمْرَةَ بِسِتٍّ أَوْ سَبْعٍ".
