The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3537
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Black Stone came from Paradise, it was whiter than snow, but the sins of the polytheists blackened it."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”حجر اسود جنت سے آیا ہے، یہ پتھر پہلے برف سے بھی زیادہ سفید تھا، مشرکین کے گناہوں نے اسے سیاہ کر دیا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Hajar Aswad Jannat se aaya hai, yeh pathar pehle barf se bhi zyada safaid tha, mushrikeen ke gunahon ne ise siyah kar diya."
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" الْحَجَرُ الْأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَكَانَ أَشَدَّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ الثَّلْجِ، حَتَّى سَوَّدَتْهُ خَطَايَا أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ".
