Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3704
Narrated by Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whatever Allah has forbidden, He knows that some of you will secretly look at it. Beware, I am holding you back from falling into the Hellfire by your waists, while you are falling into it like moths or flies."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ نے جس چیز کو بھی حرام قرار دیا ہے، وہ جانتا ہے کہ اسے تم میں سے جھانک کر دیکھنے والے دیکھیں گے، آگاہ رہو کہ میں تمہیں جہنم کی آگ میں گرنے سے بچانے کے لئے تمہاری کمر سے پکڑ کر کھینچ رہا ہوں اور تم اس میں ایسے گر رہے ہو جیسے پروانے گرتے ہیں یا مکھی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Allah ne jis cheez ko bhi haram qarar diya hai, wo janta hai ki use tum mein se jhank kar dekhne wale dekhenge, aagah raho ki main tumhen jahannam ki aag mein girne se bachane ke liye tumhari kamar se pakar kar khench raha hun aur tum us mein aise gir rahe ho jaise parwane girte hain ya makhi.”
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الثَقَفِيِّ أَوْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ شَكَّ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ عَبْدَةَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يُحَرِّمْ حُرْمَةً إِلَّا وَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ سَيَطَّلِعُهَا مِنْكُمْ مُطَّلِعٌ، أَلَا وَإِنِّي آخِذٌ بِحُجَزِكُمْ أَنْ تَهَافَتُوا فِي النَّارِ كَتَهَافُتِ الْفَرَاشِ، أَوْ الذُّبَابِ".
