Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3819
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that various nations were shown to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and there was a delay in the arrival of his nation. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then I was shown my nation, and I was amazed at their large number, for they had filled every hill and mountain. It was said to me: 'This is your nation, and among them are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being called to account or punished.' These are those who do not treat with branding, nor do they use spells or omens, and they rely upon their Lord." Hearing this, Sayyidna Ukasha bin Muhsin Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He may include me among them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for him. Then another man stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He may include me among them too." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ukasha has preceded you."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو مختلف امتیں دکھائی گئیں، آپ کی امت کے آنے میں تاخیر ہوئی، نبی ﷺ فرماتے ہیں کہ ”پھر مجھے میری امت دکھائی گئی، جس کی کثرت پر مجھے بہت تعجب ہوا کہ انہوں نے ہر ٹیلے اور پہاڑ کو بھر رکھا تھا، مجھ سے کہا گیا کہ یہ آپ کی امت ہے، ان کے ساتھ ستر ہزار آدمی ایسے ہیں جو بغیر حساب اور عذاب کے جنت میں داخل ہوں گے۔ یہ وہ لوگ ہوں گے جو داغ کر علاج نہیں کرتے، جھاڑ پھونک اور منتر نہیں کرتے، بدشگونی نہیں لیتے اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں“، یہ سن کر سیدنا عکاشہ بن محصن اسدی رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہو کر پوچھنے لگے: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ سے دعا کر دیجئے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں شامل کر لے؟ نبی ﷺ نے ان کے لئے دعا کردی، پھر ایک اور آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ سے دعا کر دیجئے کہ وہ مجھے بھی ان میں شامل کر لے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عکاشہ تم پر سبقت لے گئے۔“
Sayyina Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko mukhtalif ummatein dikhayi gayin, aap ki ummat ke aane mein takheer hui, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmate hain ki "phir mujhe meri ummat dikhayi gayi, jis ki kasrat per mujhe bahut taajjub hua ki unhon ne har teele aur pahar ko bhar rakha tha, mujh se kaha gaya ki yeh aap ki ummat hai, un ke sath sattar hazaar aadmi aise hain jo baghair hisab aur azab ke jannat mein dakhil honge. Yeh woh log honge jo daag kar ilaj nahin karte, jhaar phonk aur mantr nahin karte, badshaguni nahin lete aur apne Rab per bharosa karte hain", yeh sunkar Sayyina Ukasha bin Mohsin Asadi Raziallahu Anhu khare ho kar poochhne lage: Ya Rasulullah! Allah se dua kar dijiye ki woh mujhe bhi un mein shamil kar le? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke liye dua kardi, phir ek aur aadmi khara hua aur kahne laga: Ya Rasulullah! Allah se dua kar dijiye ki woh mujhe bhi un mein shamil kar le? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Ukasha tum per sabaqat le gaye."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيَ الْأُمَمَ بِالْمَوْسِمِ، فَرَاثَتْ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّتُهُ، قَالَ:" فَأُرِيتُ أُمَّتِي، فَأَعْجَبَنِي كَثْرَتُهُمْ، قَدْ مَلَئُوا السَّهْلَ وَالْجَبَلَ، فَقِيلَ لِي: إِنَّ مَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ، هُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يَكْتَوُونَ، وَلَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ، وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ، وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ"، فَقَالَ عُكَّاشَةُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَدَعَا لَهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يَعْنِي آخَرُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مَعَهُمْ، قَالَ:" سَبَقَكَ بِهَا عُكَّاشَةُ".
