The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد عبد الله بن مسعود رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 3825

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Masud that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said about Abu Jahl: “He is the Pharaoh of my Ummah (nation).”


Grade: Da'if

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ابوجہل کے متعلق فرمایا: ”یہ میری امت کا فرعون ہے۔“

Sayyidna Ibn Masood razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Abu Jahal ke mutalliq farmaya: Yeh meri ummat ka Firaun hai.

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْودُ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" هَذَا فِرْعَوْنُ أُمَّتِي".
