Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4196
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for any person to say that I am better than Yunus (Jonah, peace be upon him)."

سیدنا ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”کسی شخص کے لئے یہ کہناجائز نہیں ہے کہ میں حضرت یونس علیہ السلام سے بہتر ہوں۔“
Sayyidina Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Kisi shakhs ke liye yeh kehna jaiz nahin hai ki main Hazrat Yunus Alaihissalam se behtar hun."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرًا مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى".
