Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4528

It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the sale of "Muzabanah". Muzabanah refers to selling dates still on the trees in exchange for a measured amount of harvested dates, or grapes for a measured amount of raisins.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے بیع مزابنہ کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے بیع مزابنہ کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ درختوں پر لگی ہوئی کھجور کے بدلے کٹی ہوئی کھجور کو یا انگور کو کشمش کے بدلے ایک معین اندازے سے بیچنا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Bay Mazabanah ki mamanat farmai hai Bay Mazabanah ka matlab ye hai ki darakhton par lagi hui khajoor ke badle kati hui khajoor ko ya angoor ko kishmish ke badle ek muayyan andazay se bechna.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ، وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ: اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْر، كَيْلًا، وَالْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا".
