Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4543
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once someone asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Which animals can a person in the state of Ihram kill?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "He can kill a scorpion, a rat, a kite, a crow and a rabid dog."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے کسی نے سوال پوچھا کہ محرم کون سے جانور کو قتل کر سکتا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”بچھو، چوہے، چیل، کوے اور باؤلے کتے کو مار سکتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kisi ne sawal pucha ki muhrim kaun se janwar ko qatal kar sakta hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Bichhu, chuhe, cheel, kove aur baule kutte ko maar sakta hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ؟ قَالَ:" خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي الْحَرَمِ: الْعَقْرَبُ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْغُرَابُ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ".
