Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4547
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man saw a dream that the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) was on the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I see that your dreams have coincided on the last seven nights, so whoever among you wishes to seek it should seek it on the odd nights of the last ten."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے خواب دیکھا کہ شب قدر ماہ رمضان کی ستائیسویں شب ہے تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میں دیکھ رہا ہوں کہ تمہارے خواب آخری سات راتوں پر آ کر ایک دوسرے کے موافق ہو جاتے ہیں اس لئے تم میں سے جو شخص شب قدر کو تلاش کرنا چاہتا ہے اسے چاہئے کہ آخری عشرے کی طاق راتوں میں اسے تلاش کرے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne khwab dekha ki Shab e Qadr mah e Ramzan ki sattaiwein shab hai to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Main dekh raha hun ki tumhare khwab aakhri saat raaton par aa kar ek dusre ke muwafiq ho jate hain is liye tum mein se jo shakhs Shab e Qadr ko talash karna chahta hai use chahiye ki aakhri ashre ki taaq raaton mein use talash kare.”
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، رَأَى رَجُلٌ أَنَّ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَرَى رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْبَوَاقِي، فِي الْوِتْرِ مِنْهَا".
