Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4578
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “It is the right of every Muslim that three nights should not pass while his will is not written with him.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ہر مسلمان پر حق ہے کہ اس کی تین راتیں اس طرح نہیں گزرنی چاہئیں کہ اس کی وصیت اس کے پاس لکھی ہوئی نہ ہو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Har Musalman par haq hai ki uski teen raaten is tarah nahin guzarni chahiye ki uski wasiyat uske pas likhi hui na ho.“
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَر ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَبِيتَ لَيْلَتَيْنِ وَلَهُ مَا يُوصِي فِيهِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ".
