Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4584
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The people of Madinah should enter the state of Ihram from Dhu al-Hulayfah, the people of Syria from Juhfah, the people of Yemen from Yalamlam and the people of Najd from Qarn." The people asked Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) where the people of Iraq should enter the state of Ihram from? He replied that at that time, there was no designated Miqat for them.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اہل مدینہ ذوالحلیفہ سے، اہل شام جحفہ سے، اہل یمن یلملم اور اہل نجد قرن سے احرام باندھیں۔“ لوگوں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا کہ اہل عراق کہاں گئے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس وقت اس کی میقات نہیں تھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Ahl Madina Zulhulayfah se, Ahl Shaam Juhfah se, Ahl Yemen Yalamlam aur Ahl Najd Qarn se ehram bandhein.” Logon ne Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se poocha ki Ahl Iraq kahan gaye? Unhon ne farmaya ki us waqt is ki miqat nahin thi.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، سَمِعَ صَدَقَةَ ابْنُ عُمَر ، يَقُولُ: يَعْنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ، وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ"، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، وَسَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذي الْحُلَيْفَةِ"، قَالُوا لَهُ: فَأَيْنَ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ.
