Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4595
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) reported: Once 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) set out with the intention of performing 'Umrah. People informed him that there was unrest in Makkah at that time. He said: "I will assume the state of Ihram for 'Umrah. If I encounter any obstacle, I will do what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did." Then, when he reached the place called Baida', he said: "The matter of Hajj and 'Umrah is the same. I call you to witness that I have also made the intention for Hajj along with 'Umrah." So, he reached Makkah, performed Tawaf (circumambulation of the Ka'bah) seven times, and performed Sa'i (running between Safa and Marwah) seven times. He said: "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing the same. He bought the sacrificial animal at the place called 'Qadeed' and took it with him."

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ عمرے کے ارادے سے روانہ ہوئے، لوگوں نے بتایا کہ اس وقت مکہ مکرمہ میں شورش بپا ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: میں عمرے کا احرام باندھ لیتا ہوں، اگر میرے سامنے بھی کوئی رکاوٹ پیش آ گئی تو میں وہی کروں گا، جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے کیا تھا، پھر چلتے چلتے جب مقام بیداء پر پہنچے تو فرمانے لگے کہ حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا معاملہ ایک ہی جیسا تو ہے میں تمہیں گواہ بناتا ہوں کہ میں نے عمرے کے ساتھ حج کی بھی نیت کر لی ہے۔ چنانچہ وہ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچے اور سات چکر لگا کر ایک طواف کیا اور صفا مروہ کے درمیان سعی کے سات چکر لگائے اور فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بھی اسی طرح کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے کہ انہوں نے مقام ”قدیر“ پر پہنچ کر ہدی کا جانور خریدا اور اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔
Nafi rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke Sayyidna Umar razi Allah anhu ek martaba Umrah ke irade se rawana huye logon ne bataya ke iss waqt Makkah Mukarramah mein shorish bapa hai unhon ne farmaya main Umrah ka ehram bandh leta hun agar mere samne bhi koi rukawat pesh a gayi to main wohi karunga jo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kiya tha phir chalte chalte jab Maqaam e Bidaa par pahunche to farmane lage ke Hajj aur Umrah donon ka mamla ek hi jaisa to hai main tumhen gawah banata hun ke maine Umrah ke sath Hajj ki bhi niyat kar li hai chunancha woh Makkah Mukarramah pahunche aur saat chakkar laga kar ek tawaf kiya aur Safa Marwah ke darmiyan saee ke saat chakkar lagaye aur farmaya ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi isi tarah karte huye dekha hai ke unhon ne Maqaam "Qadeer" par pahunch kar hadi ka jaanwar khareeda aur apne sath le gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، خَرَجَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُرِيدُ الْعُمْرَةَ، فَأَخْبَرُوهُ أَنَّ بِمَكَّةَ أَمْرًا، فَقَالَ:" أُهِلُّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ، فَإِنْ حُبِسْتُ، صَنَعْتُ كَمَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَهَلَّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ، فَلَمَّا سَارَ قَلِيلًا، وَهُوَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ، قَالَ: مَا سَبِيلُ الْعُمْرَةِ إِلَّا سَبِيلُ الْحَجِّ، أُوجِبُ حَجًّا، وَقَالَ: أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ حَجًّا، فَإِنَّ سَبِيلَ الْحَجِّ سَبِيلُ الْعُمْرَةِ، فَقَدِمَ مَكَّةَ، فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعًا، وَقَالَ: هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ، أَتَى قُدَيْدًا، فَاشْتَرَى هَدْيًا، فَسَاقَهُ مَعَهُ".
