Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4610

Nafi', may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Sometimes Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, would lead us in the obligatory prayer and recite two or three Surahs in a single Rak'ah."

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ بعض اوقات سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرض نماز میں ہماری امامت کرتے ہوئے ایک ہی رکعت میں دو یا تین سورتیں بھی پڑھ لیتے تھے۔

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، قَالَ: رُبَّمَا" أَمَّنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ بِالسُّورَتَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثِ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ".
