Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4612
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not intend to pray when the sun is rising or setting, for it rises between the two horns of Satan. When the edge of the sun begins to appear, do not pray until it has fully risen. Likewise, when the edge of the sun begins to set, do not pray until it has completely set."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”طلوع آفتاب یا غروب آفتاب کے وقت نماز پڑھنے کا ارادہ نہ کیا کرو کیونکہ سورج شیطان کے دو سینگوں کے درمیان طلوع ہوتا ہے جب سورج کا کنارہ نکلنا شروع ہو تو جب تک وہ نمایا نہ ہو جائے اس وقت تم نماز نہ پڑھو، اسی طرح جب سورج کا کنارہ غروب ہونا شروع ہو تو اس کے مکمل غروب ہونے تک نماز نہ پڑھو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tulu-e-aaftab ya ghuroob-e-aaftab ke waqt namaz padhne ka irada na kiya karo kyunki sooraj shaitan ke do seengon ke darmiyan tulu hota hai jab sooraj ka kinara nikalna shuru ho to jab tak woh numaya na ho jaye us waqt tum namaz na padho, isi tarah jab sooraj ka kinara ghuroob hona shuru ho to uske mukammal ghuroob hone tak namaz na padho."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا تَتَحَرَّوْا بِصَلَاتِكُمْ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَا غُرُوبَهَا، فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ، فَإِذَا طَلَعَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ، فَلَا تُصَلُّوا حَتَّى تَبْرُزَ، وَإِذَا غَابَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ، فَلَا تُصَلُّوا حَتَّى تَغِيبَ".
