Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4639
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), people used to buy and sell grain by estimation. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade them from selling it in this manner until it was brought into their tents.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں لوگ اندازے سے غلے کی خرید و فروخت کر لیتے تھے تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں اس طرح بیع کرنے سے روک دیا جب تک کہ اسے اپنے خیمے میں نہ لے جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor ba-saadat mein log andazay se ghalle ki kharid o farokht kar lete thay to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen is tarah bechnay se rok diya jab tak ki usay apne khaimay mein na le jayen.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: كَانُوا يَتَبَايَعُونَ الطَّعَامَ جُزَافًا عَلَى السُّوقِ،" فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ".
