Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4646
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The reward for a prayer offered in my mosque (in Madinah) is superior to the reward of a thousand prayers offered in other mosques, except for Masjid al-Haram (in Makkah)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”مسجد حرام کو چھوڑ کر میری اس مسجد میں نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب دوسری مساجد کی نسبت ایک ہزار نمازوں سے افضل ہے۔“
Sayyidina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Masjid Haram ko chhor kar meri is masjid mein namaz parhne ka sawab dusri masajid ki nisbat ek hazar namaazon se afzal hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلفَ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ".
