Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4660
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he prayed two rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after it with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he also prayed two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs after Isha. However, he would pray at home after Jumu'ah and Maghrib. And my sister Sayyida Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) told me that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would also pray two short rak'ahs at the time of Fajr, but that was a time when I would not go to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ ظہر سے قبل دو رکعتیں اور اس کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں، نیز مغرب کے بعد دو رکعتیں اور عشاء کے بعد بھی دو رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں، البتہ جمعہ اور مغرب کے بعد اپنے گھر میں نماز پڑھتے تھے اور میری بہن سیدہ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے یہ بتایا ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ طلوع فجر کے وقت بھی مختصر سی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے لیکن وہ ایسا وقت ہوتا ہے تھا جس میں، میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے یہاں نہیں جاتا تھا۔
Sada Ibne Umar RA se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem SAW ke sath Zuhar se pehle do rakaat or uske bad do rakaat parhi hain, neez Maghrib ke bad do rakaat or Isha ke bad bhi do rakaat parhi hain, albatta Juma or Maghrib ke bad apne ghar me Namaz parhte they or meri behen Syeda Hafsa RA ne mujhe ye bataya hai ki Nabi Kareem SAW طلوع Fajr ke waqt bhi mukhtasar si do rakaat parhte they lekin wo aisa waqt hota tha jis me mai Nabi Kareem SAW ke yahan nahi jata tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَهَا سَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، فَأَمَّا الْجُمُعَةُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ فِي بَيْتِهِ، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَتْنِي أُخْتِي حَفْصَةُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي سَجْدَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ، قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ سَاعَةً لَا أَدْخُلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا".
