Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4685
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you are three persons, then two of you should not whisper to one another, leaving out the third." We asked: What if there are four? He said: "Then there is no harm."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم تین آدمی ہو تو تیسرے کو چھوڑ کر دو آدمی سرگوشی نہ کر نے لگا کرو۔“ ہم نے پوچھا: اگر چار ہوں تو؟ فرمایا: ”پھر کوئی حرج نہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Jab tum teen aadmi ho to teesre ko chhor kar do aadmi sargosi na karne laga karo.” Hum ne poocha: Agar chaar hon to? Farmaya: “Phir koi harj nahin.”
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً، فَلَا يَنْتَجِي اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا"، قَالَ: قُلْنَا: فَإِنْ كَانُوا أَرْبَعًا؟ قَالَ:" فَلَا يَضُرُّ".
