Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4716
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), people used to buy and sell grain by estimation. So, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade them from selling it in this way until they had taken it into their tents.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں لوگ اندازے سے غلے کی خرید و فروخت کر لیتے تھے، تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں اس طرح بیع کر نے سے روک دیا جب تک کہ اسے اپنے خیمے میں نہ لے جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke daur e basayadat mein log andazay se ghallay ki khareed o farokht kar letay thay, to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen is tarah bay karne se rok diya jab tak ki usay apne khaimay mein na le jayen.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: كَانُوا يَتَبَايَعُونَ الطَّعَامَ جُزَافًا بِأَعْلَى السُّوقِ،" فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ".
