Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4717
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would return from Hajj, Jihad or Umrah, upon climbing any elevated land he would recite this supplication: “Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no God but Allah, He is One and has no partners, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Powerful over everything, we are returning repenting, bowing down, worshipping and praising our Lord, Allah has fulfilled His promise, aided His servant and defeated all the armies alone.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب حج، جہاد یا عمرہ سے واپس آتے تو زمین کے جس بلند حصے پر چڑھتے یہ دعا پڑھتے: ”اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی حکومت ہے اور اسی کی تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، توبہ کرتے ہوئے لوٹ رہے ہیں، سجدہ کرتے ہوئے، عبادت کرتے ہوئے اور اپنے رب کی حمد کرتے ہوئے واپس آ رہے ہیں، اللہ نے اپنا وعدہ سچ کر دکھایا، اپنے بندے کی مدد کی اور تمام لشکروں کو اکیلے ہی شکت دے دی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Hajj, Jihad ya Umrah se wapas aate to zameen ke jis buland hisse par chadhte ye dua parhte: "Allah sab se bada hai, Allah sab se bada hai, Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahi wo akela hai is ka koi sharik nahi, isi ki hukumat hai aur isi ki tareef hai aur wo har cheez par qadir hai, tauba karte hue laut rahe hain, sijda karte hue, ibadat karte hue aur apne Rab ki hamd karte hue wapas aa rahe hain, Allah ne apna waada sach kar dikhaaya, apne bande ki madad ki aur tamam lashkaro ko akele hi shikast de di."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنَ الْجُيُوشِ أَوْ السَّرَايَا أَوْ الْحَجِّ أَوْ الْعُمْرَةِ أَوْ إِذَا أَوْفَى عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ أَوْ فَدْفَدٍ، كَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا، وَيَقُولُ:" لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ".
