Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4726
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to count in a gathering that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say this phrase “O Allah, forgive me and accept my repentance. Indeed, You are the Oft-Returning, Most Forgiving." a hundred times.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ہم ایک مجلس میں یہ شمار کرتے تھے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ یہ جملہ «رب اغفرلي وتب على انك انت التواب الغفور» سو مرتبہ فرماتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki hum ek majlis mein yeh shumaar karte thay ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yeh jumla "rab ighfirli wa tub alai innaka antat tawwabul ghafoor" sau martaba farmate thay.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ يَقُولُ:" رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ" مِئَةَ مَرَّةٍ.
