Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4727
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to the house of Sayyida Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her). He saw a curtain hanging on the door of her house and returned from there. It rarely happened that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would go to her house and not initiate the greeting. In short, after a while, Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came. He saw that Sayyida Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) seemed grieved. He asked, "What happened?" She said, "The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came but did not enter the house (and returned from outside)." Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Fatima felt very sad that you came to her but did not enter the house?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What do I have to do with the world? What do I have to do with these decorated curtains?" Hearing this, Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Sayyida Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) and conveyed this instruction of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to her. She said, "Ask the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) what is the command for me now?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell Fatima to send it to so-and-so (a needy person)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ سیدہ فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے یہاں گئے ان کے گھر کے دروازے پر پردہ لٹکا ہوا دیکھا تو وہیں سے واپس ہو گئے، بہت کم ایسا ہوا ہوتا تھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ان کے یہاں جاتے اور ان سے ابتداء نہ کرتے، الغرض! تھوڑی دیر بعد سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو سیدہ فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا غمگین دکھائی دیں، انہوں نے پوچھا کیا ہوا؟ وہ بولیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لائے تھے، لیکن گھر کے اندر نہیں آئے (اور باہر سے ہی واپس ہو گئے)۔ سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! فاطمہ نے اس چیز کو اپنے اوپر بہت زیادہ محسوس کیا ہے کہ آپ ان کے پاس آئے بھی اور گھر میں داخل نہ ہوئے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے دنیا سے کیا غرض، مجھے ان منقش پردوں سے کیا غرض؟“ یہ سن کر سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سیدہ فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گئے اور انہیں نبی کریم ﷺ کا یہ ارشاد سنایا، انہوں نے کہا کہ آپ نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھیے کہ اب میرے لئے کیا حکم ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”فاطمہ سے کہو کہ اسے بنو فلاں کے پاس بھیج دے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sayyida Fatima ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke yahan gaye un ke ghar ke darwaze par parda latka hua dekha to wahin se wapas ho gaye, bahut kam aisa hua hota tha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke yahan jate aur un se ibtida na karte, algharaz! thori der baad Sayyidna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aaye to Sayyida Fatima ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ghamgeen dikhai din, unhon ne pucha kya hua? woh boli ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laye the, lekin ghar ke andar nahin aaye (aur bahar se hi wapas ho gaye). Sayyidna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye aur arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah! Fatima ne is cheez ko apne upar bahut zyada mehsoos kiya hai ki aap un ke paas aaye bhi aur ghar mein dakhil na huye? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Mujhe duniya se kya gharaz, mujhe in munqish parde se kya gharaz?” yeh sun kar Sayyidna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Sayyida Fatima ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke paas gaye aur unhen Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka yeh irshad sunaya, unhon ne kaha ki aap Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se puchiye ki ab mere liye kya hukum hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Fatima se kaho ki use banu falan ke paas bhej de”.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غَزْوَانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى فَاطِمَةَ، فَوَجَدَ عَلَى بَابِهَا سِتْرًا، فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهَا، وَقَلَّمَا كَانَ يَدْخُلُ إِلَّا بَدَأَ بِهَا، قَالَ: فَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ، فَرَآهَا مُهْتَمَّةً، فَقَالَ: مَالَكِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: جَاءَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيَّ، فَأَتَاهُ عَلِيٌّ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ اشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهَا أَنَّكَ جِئْتَهَا، فَلَمْ تَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهَا! فَقَالَ:" وَمَا أَنَا وَالدُّنْيَا، وَمَا أَنَا وَالرَّقْمُ"، قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ إِلَى فَاطِمَةَ، فَأَخْبَرَهَا بِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: فَقُلْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي بِهِ؟ فَقَالَ:" قُلْ لَهَا تُرْسِلُ بِهِ إِلَى بَنِي فُلَانٍ".
