Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4734
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a ring made of silver, which remained in his hand. After the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that ring remained in the possession of Sayyidina Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), then in the possession of Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and then Sayyidina Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). It was engraved with “Muhammad Rasool Allah” (Muhammad Messenger of Allah).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے چاندی کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی تھی، جو آپ ﷺ کے ہاتھ میں ہی رہی، نبی کریم ﷺ کے بعد وہ انگوٹھی سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں رہی، پھر سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اور سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں علی الترتیب رہی اس پر ”محمد رسول اللہ“ نقش تھا۔
Sayyida Ibn Umar RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne chandi ki ek anguthi banwai thi, jo aap SAW ke hath mein hi rahi, Nabi Kareem SAW ke bad wo anguthi Sayyiduna Abu Bakr RA ke hath mein rahi, phir Sayyiduna Umar RA aur Sayyiduna Usman RA ke hath mein ali ut tartib rahi is par "Muhammad Rasul Allah" naqsh tha.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُمَرَ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ، نَقْشُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
