Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4739
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), during a battle, saw a slain woman and forbade the killing of women and children.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے کسی غزوہ میں ایک مقتول عورت کو دیکھا تو عورتوں اور بچوں کو قتل کر نے سے روک دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ghazwa mein ek maqtool aurat ko dekha to auraton aur bachchon ko qatal karne se rok diya.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً، فَنَهَى عَنْ" قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ".
