Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4757
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs (units of prayer) at home after Maghrib (sunset prayer).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ مغرب کے بعد اپنے گھر میں دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَالْعُمَرِيُّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ فِي بَيْتِهِ".
