Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4779
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade slapping the face.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے چہرے پر مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chehre par marne se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَنْ تُضْرَبَ الصُّوَرَة، يَعْنِي الْوَجْهَ".
