Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4820

Salem (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to curse regarding the place of Bayda and would say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) assumed Ihram from the Mosque itself (and not from Bayda as you have made it famous).

سالم رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مقام بیداء کے متعلق لعنت فرماتے تھے اور کہتے تھے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مسجد ہی سے احرام باندھا ہے۔ (مقام بیداء سے نہیں جیسا کہ تم نے مشہور کر رکھا ہے)۔

Salim rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke sayyidna ibn umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a maqam baida ke mutalliq laanat farmate thy aur kehte thy ke nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne masjid hi se ehram bandha hai (maqam baida se nahin jaisa ke tum ne mashhoor kar rakha hai)

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَكَادُ يَلْعَنُ الْبَيْدَاءَ، وَيَقُولُ:" إِنَّمَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ".
