Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4878
It was narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The night prayer is offered in units of two, and the Witr is one Rak'ah at the end of the night."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”رات کی دو دو رکعت ہوتی ہے اور وتر رات کے آخری حصے میں ایک رکعت ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Raat ki do do rakat hoti hai aur witr raat ke aakhiri hisse mein ek rakat hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، وَالْوِتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ".
