Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4897
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “O Allah! Forgive those who shave.” The people said: “Invoke for those who shorten their hair too.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the third or fourth time, said: “O Allah! Forgive those who shorten their hair too.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! حلق کر انے والوں کو معاف فرما دے۔“ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: قصر کرانے والوں کے لئے بھی تو دعا فرمائیے، نبی ﷺ نے تیسری یا چوتھی مرتبہ قصر کرانے والوں کے لئے فرمایا کہ اے اللہ! قصر کرانے والوں کو بھی معاف فرما دے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Ay Allah! Halq karne walon ko maaf farma de.” Logon ne arz kiya: Qasr karane walon ke liye bhi to dua farmaiye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teesri ya chauthi martaba qasr karane walon ke liye farmaya ki ay Allah! Qasr karane walon ko bhi maaf farma de.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، فَقَالَ: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا، أَوْ أَرْبَعًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ".
