Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4908
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw phlegm stuck towards the Qibla in the mosque. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and cleaned it. Then, turning towards the people in displeasure, he said: "When one of you is in prayer, Allah is in front of his face. Therefore, none of you should clean his nose in front of his face in prayer, nor to the right." Then, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for a piece of wood and removed it with it, and asked for a perfume called "Khaluq" and applied it there.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے دوران نماز مسجد میں قبلہ کی جانب بلغم لگا ہوا دیکھا، نبی ﷺ نے کھڑے ہو کر اسے صاف کر دیا، پھر لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر ان سے ناراض ہو کر فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز میں ہوتا ہے، تو اللہ اس کے چہرے کے سامنے ہوتا ہے اس لئے تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی نماز میں اپنے چہرے کے سامنے ناک صاف نہ کرے۔ اور نہ ہی دائیں جانب“، پھر آپ ﷺ نے ایک لکڑی منگوا کر اس سے اسے ہٹا دیا اور ”خلوق“ نامی خوشبو منگوا کر وہاں لگا دی۔
Saina Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne doran namaz masjid mein qibla ki janib balgham laga howa dekha, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne kharay ho kar usay saaf kar diya, phir logon ki taraf mutawajih ho kar unse naraz ho kar farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi shakhs namaz mein hota hai, toh Allah uske chehre ke samne hota hai is liye tum mein se koi shakhs apni namaz mein apne chehre ke samne naak saaf na kare. Aur na hi dayen janib", phir Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne aik lakri mangwa kar us se usay hatta diya aur "Khuluk" nami khushbu mangwa kar wahan laga diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَرَأَى فِي الْقِبْلَةِ نُخَامَةً، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا صَلَّى فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَسْتَقْبِلُهُ بِوَجْهِهِ، فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ، وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِعُودٍ فَحَكَّهُ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِخَلُوقٍ فَخَضَبَهُ".
