Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4917
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks alcohol, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. The second time too, his repentance will be accepted. The third time he does so, it is the right of Allah that He makes him drink from the Khabal." The people asked, "What is Khabal?" He said, "It is the pus that oozes from the people of Hellfire."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص شراب نوشی کرے اس کی چالیس دن کی نماز قبول نہ ہو گی، اگر توبہ کر لے تو اللہ اس کی توبہ کو قبول فرمائے گا دوسری مرتبہ بھی توبہ قبول ہو جائے گی، تیسری مرتبہ ایسا کرنے پر اللہ کے ذمہ حق ہے کہ وہ اسے نہرخبال کا پانی پلائے“، لوگوں نے پوچھا کہ نہرخبال کیا چیز ہے؟ فرمایا: ”جہاں اہل جہنم کی پیپ جمع ہو گی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs sharaab noshi kare uski chalis din ki namaz qubool na ho gi, agar tauba kar le to Allah uski tauba ko qubool farmaye ga dusri martaba bhi tauba qubool ho jaye gi, teesri martaba aisa karne par Allah ke zimme haq hai ki woh use nahar khabal ka pani pilaye", logon ne poocha ki nahar khabal kya cheez hai? Farmaya: "Jahan ehl jahannam ki peep jama ho gi."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً، فَإِنْ تَابَ، تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ عَادَ، كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ نَهَرِ الْخَبَالِ"، قِيلَ: وَمَا نَهَرُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ:" صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ".
