Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4922
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was returning from the Battle of Hunayn, Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him on the way about a vow he (the Prophet) had made during the pre-Islamic period concerning secluding himself in the mosque for a day. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed him to fulfill his vow. Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) then departed and sent with me a slave girl whom he had acquired during the Battle of Hunayn. I lodged her in a villager's house. Suddenly, I saw that all the captives of the Battle of Hunayn were running away, saying that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had set them free. Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also instructed Abdullah to go and set her free. So I went and released the slave girl.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب غزوہ حنین سے واپس آ رہے تھے تو راستے میں سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے زمانہ جاہلیت کی اس منت کی متعلق پوچھا جو انہوں نے ایک دن کے اعتکاف کے حوالے سے مانی تھی، نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اپنی منت پوری کر نے کا حکم دیا اور سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ وہاں سے روانہ ہو گئے اور میرے ساتھ اپنی اس باندی کو بھیج دیا جو انہیں غزوہ حنین میں ملی تھی، میں نے اسے ایک دیہاتی کے گھر میں ٹھہرایا اچانک میں نے دیکھا کہ غزوہ حنین کے ساری قیدی نکل کر بھاگے چلے جا رہے ہیں اور کہتے جا رہے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں آزاد کر دیا، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی عبداللہ سے کہا کہ جا کر اسے آزاد کر دو چنانچہ میں نے جا کر اس باندی کو بھی چھوڑ دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Ghazwah Hunain se wapas aa rahe the to raste mein Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne un se zamanah jahiliyat ki us munt ki mutaliq pucha jo unhon ne ek din ke aitekaf ke hawale se mani thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen apni munt puri karne ka hukum diya aur Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) wahan se rawana ho gaye aur mere sath apni us bandi ko bhij diya jo unhen Ghazwah Hunain mein mili thi, maine use ek dehati ke ghar mein thahraya achanak maine dekha ki Ghazwah Hunain ke sari qaidi nikal kar bhaage chale ja rahe hain aur kahte ja rahe hain ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen azad kar diya, Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne bhi Abdullah se kaha ki ja kar use azad kar do chunancha maine ja kar us bandi ko bhi chhod diya.
رقم الحديث: 4780 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَفَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ حُنَيْنٍ" سَأَلَ عُمَرُ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ نَذَرَهُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، اعْتِكَافُ يَوْمٍ؟ فَأَمَرَهُ بِهِ". (حديث موقوف) فَانْطَلَقَ ابْنُ عُمَرُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، قَالَ: وَبَعَثَ مَعِي بِجَارِيَةٍ كَانَ أَصَابَهَا يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ، قَالَ: فَجَعَلْتُهَا فِي بَعْضِ بُيُوتِ الْأَعْرَابِ حِينَ نَزَلْتُ،" فَإِذَا أَنَا بِسَبْيِ حُنَيْنٍ قَدْ خَرَجُوا يَسْعَوْنَ، يَقُولُونَ: أَعْتَقَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ: اذْهَبْ فَأَرْسِلْهَا، قَالَ: فَذَهَبْتُ فَأَرْسَلْتُهَا".
