Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4953
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) confirmed the lineage of the child of a woman who had invoked Li'an (a procedure of mutual imprecation to dissolve a marriage in case of accusation of adultery) with her mother (severing the child's lineage from the father).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے لعان کر نے والی خاتون کے بچے کا نسب اس کی ماں سے ثابت قرار دیا (باپ سے اس کا نسب ختم کر دیا)۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne la'an karne wali khatun ke bacche ka nasab uski maan se sabit qarar diya (baap se uska nasab khatam kar diya).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" اَلْحَقَ ابْنَ الْمُلاعِنَةِ بِأُمِّهِ".
