Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4954
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Offer the Witr prayer closer to the time of the morning prayer (Fajr).”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”صبح ہونے سے پہلے وتر پڑھنے میں جلدی کیا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Subah hone se pehle witr parhne mein jaldi kiya karo."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمٌ الأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوَتْرِ".
