Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4974
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade "Qaza'." "Qaza'" means to shave some of the hair of a child's head and leave some of it.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے «قزع» سے منع فرمایا ہے «قزع» کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ بچے کے بال کٹواتے وقت کچھ بال کٹوا لیے جائیں اور کچھ چھوڑ دیئے جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allah Anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Qaza" se mana farmaya hai "Qaza" ka matlab ye hai ki bache ke baal katwate waqt kuch baal katwa liye jayen aur kuch chor diye jayen.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بن عثمان ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ".
