Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4976
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wear his ring with the stone facing his palm.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ آپ ﷺ اپنی انگوٹھی کا نگینہ ہتھیلی کی طرف کر لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ" فَصَّ خَاتَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي بَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ".
