Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4996
Bakr said that once I mentioned to Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, that Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated to us this hadith that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, assumed Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah? He said that Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, was mistaken. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, initially assumed Ihram for Hajj and we also assumed Ihram for Hajj with him. Then when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, reached Makkah, he said, “Whoever does not have the sacrificial animal with him should make it Umrah.” And because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had the sacrificial animal with him, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not disavow his Ihram.

بکر کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ذکر کیا کہ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے ہم سے یہ حدیث بیان کی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کو مغالطہ ہو گیا ہے، نبی ﷺ نے ابتداء میں تو حج کا احرام باندھا تھا اور ہم نے بھی ان کے ساتھ حج کا ہی احرام باندھا تھا، پھر جب نبی ﷺ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچے تو فرمایا: ”جس شخص کے پاس ہدی کا جانور نہ ہو، اسے چاہئے کہ اسے عمرہ بنا لے اور چونکہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ہدی کا جانور تھا اس لئے نبی ﷺ نے احرام نہیں کھولا۔
Bukhar kehte hain ke ek martaba maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhuma se zikar kiya ke Sayyidna Anas Radi Allahu anhu ne hum se ye hadees bayan ki hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajj aur Umrah dono ka ahram bandha tha? Unhon ne farmaya ke Sayyidna Anas Radi Allahu anhu ko mugalta ho gaya hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ibtida mein to Hajj ka ahram bandha tha aur hum ne bhi un ke sath Hajj ka hi ahram bandha tha, phir jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Makkah Mukarramah pahunche to farmaya: “Jis shakhs ke pas hadi ka janwar na ho, use chahiye ke use Umrah bana le aur chunke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath hadi ka janwar tha is liye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ahram nahi khola.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ ، قَالَ: ذَكَرْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَنَا، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ، فَقَالَ: وَهِلَ أَنَسٌ، إِنَّمَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ، وَأَهْلَلْنَا مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ، قَالَ:" مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ، فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا عُمْرَةً"، وَكَانَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدْيٌ، فَلَمْ يَحِلَّ.
