Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5008
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the pulpit, “When anyone amongst you comes for Jumu’ah, he must perform Ghusl.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے برسر منبر نبی ﷺ سے ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب کوئی شخص جمعہ کے لئے آئے تو اسے چاہئے کہ غسل کر کے آئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine barsar mimbar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se irshad farmate hue suna hai ki jab koi shakhs juma ke liye aaye to use chahiye ki gusl kar ke aaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي السُّبَيْعِيَّ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ:" مَنْ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ".
