Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5058
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding lizard: So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے گوہ کے متعلق پوچھا: تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں اسے کھاتا ہوں اور نہ ہی حرام قرار دیتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se goh ke mutalliq pucha: to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "main ise khata hun aur na hi haram qarar deta hun."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الضَّبِّ، قَالَ:" لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ".
