Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5059
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Syria, Qarn for the people of Najd. I have been told that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Yalamlam as the Miqat for the people of Yemen.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل مدینہ کے لئے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ، اہل نجد کے لئے قرن کو میقات مقرر فرمایا۔ مجھے بتایا گیا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم کو میقات مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ahle Madina ke liye Zulhulayfah, ahle Shaam ke liye Juhfah, ahle Najd ke liye Qarn ko miqat muqarrar farmaya. Mujhe bataya gaya hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ahle Yemen ke liye Yalamlam ko miqat muqarrar farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا"، قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: وَنُبِّئْتُ أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ.
