Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5062
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to offer voluntary prayers while riding his mount, no matter which direction it was facing, and he would say: “I have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing the same.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اپنی سواری پر ہی نفل نماز پڑھ لیتے تھے، خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت میں ہوتا اور فرماتے تھے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو بھی اسی طرح کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a apni sawari par hi nafl namaz parh lete thay, khawah iska rukh kisi bhi simt mein hota aur farmate thay ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi isi tarah karte huye dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ" يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ وَجَّهَتْ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ".
