Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5063
Jabalah said that Abdullah bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, used to give us dates to eat. In those days, people were facing extreme hardships. One day we were eating dates when Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by us and said, "Do not eat many dates together at one time, because the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade eating many dates together without the permission of one's brother."

جبلہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ ہمیں کھانے کے لئے کھجور دیا کرتے تھے، اس زمانے میں لوگ انتہائی مشکلات کا شکار تھے، ایک دن ہم کھجوریں کھا رہے تھے کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ہمارے پاس سے گزرے اور فرمانے لگے کہ ایک وقت میں کئی کئی کھجوریں اکٹھی مت کھاؤ کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے بھائی کی اجازت کے بغیر کئی کھجوریں اکٹھی کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Jabla kehte hain ke syedna Abdullah bin Zubair razi Allah anhu humain khanay ke lye khajoor diya karte thay, iss zamanay mein log intehai mushkilaat ka shikaar thay, aik din hum khajoorein kha rahay thay ke syedna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma humare pass se guzray aur farmane lage ke aik waqt mein kai kai khajoorein ikatthi mat khao kyunke nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne bhai ki ijazat ke baghair kai khajoorein ikatthi khanay se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَرْزُقُنَا التَّمْرَ، وَبِالنَّاسِ يَوْمَئِذٍ جَهْدٌ، قَالَ: فَمَرَّ بِنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، فَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْإِقْرَانِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ الْإِقْرَانِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَأْذِنَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ".
